Sinds een paar jaar maak ik mijn eigen papier van allerlei soorten gebruikt papier en karton. En sindsdien heb ik mijn methode zodanig verbeterd dat ik het papier kan laten risoprinten. Dit is een druktechniek die lijkt op zeefdrukken en gebeurt per kleur. Dankzij de leuke opdrachten die ik de afgelopen jaren heb gehad, heb ik veel nieuwe ideeen gekregen voor persoonlijke kaarten. Op instagram of facebook (@studiomabelle.nl) komen soms wat persoonlijke kaarten langs, dus dat is een goeie plek om te kijken voor voorbeelden. Het papier maak ik van onder andere gebruikt wit kantoorpapier, oude kranten, karton, (groene) eierdozen, blauwe belastingenveloppen, oude boeken enz. Zo kan ik de kleur van het papier op een natuurlijke manier verkrijgen. Door het papier kan ik verschillende ingredienten mengen, zoals confetti, gras, gipskruid, koffie enz. Het papier wordt dus bedrukt met risoprint, een soort zeefdruktechniek, dit gebeurt per kleur. ​Het papier heeft door het scheppen een gladde kant en een iets grovere kant. Voor kaarten gebruik ik de grovere kant aan de buitenkant of voorkant. De binnenkant of achterkant is glad waardoor de (gedetailleerde) tekst hierop mooi gedrukt kan worden. Het papierpulp kan grof of heel fijn gemaakt worden; hoe grover hoe meer details van waar het papier van gemaakt is. Bij gevouwen kaarten gebruik ik stiksel voor de vouwrand, omdat het papier wat vezelig is, dan vouwt het mooier. De kosten zijn van een aantal dingen afhankelijk. Hieronder kun je zien waar je op moet letten en wat mogelijkheden zijn. - De grootte van de kaart is van belang. Zie tekening onderaan de pagina voor wat basisprijzen per afmeting (prijzen zijn per kaart). - Op de kaart kun je kiezen voor een stiksel lijn voor de sier (dus niet de vouwlijn), dit is 10ct per lijn per kaart. - In overleg kunnen we bepalen welk soort papier je het leukst vindt. Mocht je extra ingredienten willen, zoals confetti, dan komt er per kaart 15ct bij. - Afgeronde hoekjes is 10ct per kaart. - Wil je een uitgebreid ontwerp, bijvoorbeeld voor een trouwkaart, dan komen er extra kosten bij. Over het algemeen zit er weinig werk in het tekstgedeelte ontwerpen van een geboortekaart. Dit is gewoon in de basisprijs inbegrepen. - Voor een extra tekeningetje reken ik ongeveer € 15,-. - Enveloppen zijn in de basisprijs inbegrepen, net als verzendkosten en drukkosten. Dus de kosten op een rijtje: - basisprijs is afhankelijk van de grootte (envelop, drukkosten en verzendkosten inbegrepen); - 10ct per sierstiksel per kaart; - 10ct voor afgeronde hoekjes; - 15ct voor extra ingredienten per kaart; - €15,- ongeveer voor tekeningetje; - eventuele extra kosten voor uitgebreid ontwerp. De kosten zijn een indicatie. Elke kaart is weer anders. Maar over het algemeen kun je de bovenstaande lijst aanhouden. Ik vind het altijd leuk om nieuwe dingen te proberen, dus als je daar interesse in hebt kunnen we daarover hebben. Ik werk vanuit Den Haag. Woolfelt is very suitable to use as a lampshade because of its acoustic qualities and the fact that pure wool is inflammable. The material is rough and warm: the glow through the felt is always warm. The roughness helps to give the lamp its form: we don't use a frame. These handmade lamps combine classic forms with modern details. The bigger ones are perfect to hang in a central place in a room or above the table. Stylish and functional. Because of the shapes, you don't easily look into the bulb. The smaller lamps are more suited to use as a decorative element, for example above a sidetable or as a bedside lamp. The cords are visually attractive, so you can be creative with it.
